The Plant Riverside District has announced plans for a new 6 day festival to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day from March 12th through the 17th called the Shamrocks and Shenanigans Festival.
The festival is expected to draw thousands of participants and will offer live music, fountain shows, Irish music and dancing, and lots more.
Plant Riverside is going it alone with the event since the City of Savannah St. Patrick’s Day events have all been canceled around town.
Attendees can enjoy traditional Irish music, lots of live music every day including party bands, fountain shows featuring the Savannah Children’s Choir, and plenty of usual River Street action in the Biergarten. The kids can even enjoy getting their photo taken with a Leprechaun.
Here’s the schedule of events from the folks at Plant Riverside District:
COVID-19 safety protocols will be in place at Plat Riverside for the event, and everyone is expected to follow all precautions including wearing masks and social distancing.
